Mrs. Faye
N. Chambers
Mrs. Faye N.
Chambers, age 83, of Ya-
tesville, died Tuesday, Dec.
19, 2023, at Roberta
Health and Rehab.
Funeral services for
Mrs. Chambers were held
Saturday, Dec. 23, at 11
a.m. at Yatesville Baptist
Church, with Rev. John
Wesley Long officiating.
Interment followed in New
Hope Cemetery. The
family of Mrs. Chambers
received friends Friday
evening from 5-7 p.m. at
Fletcher-Day Funeral
Home.
Mrs. Chambers was
born in The Rock, Feb. 15,
1940, a daughter of the
late James A. Noel and the
late Gladys Boyt Noel. She
was a graduate of Yates
ville High School.
Mrs. Chambers was
employed as a school food
manager for Upson-Lee
South Elementary until
her retirement, May 31,
2002. She loved working
in her flower garden. Mrs.
Chambers was an active
member of Yatesville Bap
tist Church.
Mrs. Chambers is sur
vived by her son, Alan
Chambers of Yatesville;
her daughter, Linda
(Todd) Bates of Thomas
ton; her sister, Claire Cul-
verhouse of Columbus; her
granddaughter, Karen
(Michael) Stephens of
Thomaston; her great
grandchildren, Dixie and
Daniel Stephens; and sev
eral nieces and nephews.
In addition to her par
ents, Mrs. Chambers was
preceded in death by her
husband, Raymond Lewis
Chambers; and her sisters,
Hilda Moulton and Jean
Warren.
Those desiring may

Yatesville, GA 31097 or to
a charity of the donor's
choice.

Cheryl Ann
Cleveland Reviere
Cheryl Ann, as she was
affectionately known by
friends and family, was
born June 9, 1955, to the
late Mary Ruth Cleveland
Alexander and Lester
Chatman, Sr. in Thomas
ton, Upson County.
Cheryl Ann accepted
Jesus Christ at an early age
and attended Friendship
Baptist Church. She at
tended public school in the
Thomaston School Dis
trict. During high school,
she met her future hus
band, Robert Lee Reviere.
After graduation, they wel
comed their only child,
Talisha Reviere-Winston.
Cheryl Ann worked at
Thomaston Mills for more
than 20 years, creating
and cultivating many life
long friendships. In 2010,
Cheryl Ann moved back to
suburban Detroit, Mich, to
be closer to her only child,
Lisa, and three grandchil
dren, Jalen, Julian, and
Jennifer (affectionately
called Baby Girl).
Cheryl Ann’s grand
children were the apple of
her eye and were “practi
cally perfect in every way.”
She loved spending time
with them and sharing
stories of her childhood.
Cheryl Ann loved
music, playing cards,
Bingo, and being the self-
proclaimed “welcome
committee” to all who
knew and loved her at
Meadowbrook Commons
Senior Living Community
in Novi, Mich. She never
met a stranger, made ev
eryone feel welcome, and
was always the life of the
party.

much like she lived it, with
fierce determination until
she drew her last breath,
Sept. 28, 2023. Cheryl Ann
was preceded in death by
her mother, Mary Ruth
Cleveland Alexander; her
father, Lester Chatman,
Sr; Joyce Alexander; Wes
ley Alexander, Willie
James Cleveland, and
Lester Chatman, Jr.
She leaves behind her
cherished memories to her
only child, Talisha Rev-
erie-Winston (Brian); her
extended family, Pollie Al
exander, Cathy Alexander,
Robin Alexander, Ga-
brielle Chatman-Battle
(James), Marian Smith,
Dorothy Durham of
Thomaston, Mary Trice
Willis of Griffin, and Al
fred Cleveland of Atlanta;
grandchildren, Jalen Win
ston, Julian Winston and
Jennifer Winston of Novi,
Mich.; best friend, Teresa
Birks of Woodbury; and a
host of nephews, nieces,
cousins, and other rel
atives and friends who will
all miss her love, her
laugh, and presence
dearly.
Memorial Services
were held at George E.
Trice Memorial Chapel,
Dec. 10. Trice Funeral
Home was in charge of the
arrangements.

has established the Lead and Copper Rule
(LCR) to protect public health and reduce
exposure to lead and copper in drinking water.
It is estimated that there are between 6 to 10
million lead service lines still in existence in our
country. The primary source of lead in

tiative, requiring water service providers to inventory all water line materials. The
goal is to identify and eventually replace all lead water lines to “Get the Lead Out.”

insurance plans at no cost

without health insurance
coverage, a federal pro
gram will cover the cost of
the COVID vaccine and
administration fee.
There is a $21.93 ad
ministration fee for the in
fluenza vaccine for those
who do not have insurance
or are underinsured. Vac
cines For Children-funded
COVID and influenza vac
cines are available for
those six months to 18
years old without health
insurance coverage. Un
less covered by Medicaid,

receive the VFC-funded
vaccine.
District 4 health offi
cials also encourage eligi
ble older adults and preg
nant women to talk with
their primary doctor about
getting the new FDA-ap-
proved RSV vaccine,
which is available at select
doctors’ offices and local
pharmacies.
It is important to get
your vaccines as soon as
possible to protect your
self and loved ones and to
help prevent the spread of
the viruses, especially be
fore the holidays, accord
ing to DPH officials.
Flu and COVID vac
cines cannot completely
prevent someone from
getting either virus. Ho
wever, CDC data show
vaccines are the key -
especially for older adults
and individuals with
chronic health conditions
- in reducing the risk of se
vere illness, long-term ef
