The Only Catholic Periodical Between Washington and New Orleans” The following resolutions on the death of the first editor of The Bulletin were adopted at the annual convention of the Georgia State Council, Knights of Columbus, in session at Brunswick, Ga., May 10, 1921, and forwarded by State Deputy Thomas F. Walsh, Jr., to the family of Mr. Farrell and to The Bulletin, with the request that they be published: Whereas, Almighty God, in His Infinite Wis dom, has seen fit to call to his eternal reward the soul of our late brother and official, James J. Farrell, and Whereas, our departed brother, James J. Far rell, has reflected credit on the Knights of Co lumbus not only by his great and nationally known work for God and country in bringing about a better feeling between Catholics and non-Catholics through the Laymen’s Association of Georgia, but by his eminently Christian and private life as well. Be it, therefore, Resolved, that in the death of our beloved brother and official, James J. Farrell, the State Council of the Knights of Columbus has sus tained an irreparable loss, and be it further Resolved, that a copy of these resolutions be sent to the bereaved family of our late brother, to The Bulletin of the Catholic Laymen’s Asso ciation of Georgia, and that they be spread on the minutes of the 19th annual convention of the Georgia State Council, Knights of Columbus, assembled at Brunswick, Georgia, this day, May
