The fashion show given by the
Home Economics department prom
ises to be a gala occasion. A write
up of such a display really will not
do justice to the girls and their
frocks, so come Tuesday afternoon,
May 26, at 4:30 and see the "dress
parade.”
To give you an idea of the pro
gram, we say it will be something
like this:
1. King cotton’s models.
2. High School girl of Today.
3. Dance Eccentric.
,4. Just looking.
5. Flower Dance.
6. Gents Fashions.
7. Fashion Rook.
Immediately after the last model
disappears, the spectators will be in
vited to see the exhibits in the va
rious rooms of the home economics
department. Punch will be served
the visitors as they leave the foods
laboratory.
We believe you will be agreeably
surprised when you see the work
done by the girls, and that you will
find the program quite interesting.
Make your plans to see the Fash
ion Show, May 26, at 4:30 P. M.

a man, or come home dead.” It was
the fifth son of his mother had sent

to fight for the confederate cause.
Dr. Walker was one of these men
who realize the value of a high edu
cation and after completion of his
work at Longstreei) High School, and
just after the war, he pressed on
ward for a medical education. After
having finished his medical training
at the University of Louisville, Ken
