ton, Oglethorpe county, with the excep
tion of the house occupied as a store,
which is on the corner, and not connect
ed with the other buildings. The situa
lionn is the most eligible one in the tow n
for any kind ol public business, being
immediately on the main street, and
fronting the public square and court
house. The buildings consists of a large
ami convenient dwelling house, suited to
the purpose of a tavern, and ha» been oc
cupied as such for many years. The out
buildings arc also calculated for a tavern,
and much better improved than most lots
in our up-country towns, besides the
dwelling house. There is also another
house 011 the street, fronting the square,
with two rooms below, wine h may be
easily fitted upas a store. The buildings
are in good repair. There is also about
380 acres of land adjoining the town, 250
cleared and in good order, which can be
purchased with the town property, if the
purchaser should wish it. The subscri
ber being anxious to dispose of this pro
perty, will sell it at a reduced price, and
if required, will give a liberal credit up
on any part, or even the whole of the
purchase money, if well secured in the
ultimate payment.

cuit Court of the United Slates, lor
the District of Georgia, w ill be sold, at
Public Auction, to the highest bidder,
at the market house in the city of Augus
ta,on Thursday Iho 28th day of No\ em
ber next, The Augusta Bridge and Us
appurtenances.
The terms of sale will be, “ one third
cash ; one third payable in in one year
from the date ol Hie sale, with interest at
seetn per centum per annum, and the re
maining third payable in hco years from
the dale of the said sale, frith like interest
—The purchaser giving bond with ap
proved personal security, and a mortgage
of the premises.”
The income of the property now offer
ed for sale, is, from the best information

ly existing impediments to the sale are
now removed, and the subscribers are in
complete possession of the Bridge, they
