suflered much in the loss of cattle, hog-,
poultry, corn, &r. the cause of which
they attribute to idle vagrants, who arc
in the habit of sauntering about their
plantations, under tin- pretence ot Jislung
and hunting —mixing with their slaves,
eating, Irimdiig ami sleeping in their
negro houses :—adopt this method ol no
tifying all person* whomsoever, that
prosecutions will be entered against all
and every person who may thus trespass
o them lor the future ; and that no per
son wib be alloweU to enter their said
promise*, on any pretence, without leave
being fir*i obtained from them or their
overseers. .
Slaves are also in this practice. No
respect will be paid a pass, if found tres

foreclosure of the equity of redemption
in and to the mortgaged premises:
It is ordered by the Court, That the
principal, interest and post due upon the
said mortgage be paid into court within
twelve mouths from the date hereof or
the equity of redemption in the said
mortgaged deed mentioned, be foreclo
sed, and other proceedings be had there
on as the law directs.
And it is further ordered , That this
rule be published once a month, in one
of the public Gazettes of this state, for
. twelve months, or served on the mortga
gors, or their special agent, at least six
months previous to the time the money
is directed to be paid.
