Teeth and Gums.
riJIIJE diseases of the Teeth and Gums
JL arc-chiefly owing to our own mg- 1
lent; the parts of the aliments which
lodge aho ut them after mastication, grow-
ing acrid and contrive, the gums arc I
thereby first affected, as being the most f
tender parts, and after these corrections *
are produced, commonly called the 'J ar- *
tar of the Teeth, which, destroying both
their texture and whiteness, not only ’
deprives the mouth of its principal orna- 1
ment*, but brings on violent tooth aches, 1
and renders the Gums livid and putrid, 1
and offensive lu ourselves and others.— ‘
But though people in general may pre
vent those inconveniences, by care and 5
attention at first, yet, if they arc once
suffered to take place, it is no longer in
the power of the sufferer to remove them, ■
this being properly (he province of the
experienced .Dentist, w ho hath made the
maladies of the Teeth and Gums, with
their attendant evils, tho principal object
and end ofhisstudies.
Mr. Florence, Dentist,
By longpr dice, a close application to
business, and a thorough knowledge of
the structure oflho Teeth and Gum:*, has
made ail (he operations in those parts
quite familiar to him, insomuch that
what seme Dentists have judged imprac

Those Teeth that have fallen out of

though in a perfect sound state, he, by a
method peculiar to himself, replaces as

meatiness to the patient.
He clear? the Teeth, if ever ?o disco
loured, of all their foulness and tartar,
without pain, and renders thorn while
and as fair a? ever in haII an hour.
Teeth and Stumps extracted in the
easiest manner, il everso difficult.
He assists young Ladies and Gentle
men in the first and second dentition, and
removes tlic Milk Teeth at proper sea
sons, led they ’should incommode there
gula*'growth of the succeeding ones ; and
if a deformity of (his kind has taken place,
through the want of a skilful Dentist.
