TH: JEFFERSON AN ACT Relating to bonds given by marjhalt, BE it ensiled by the Senate and Hatt/t of Refre/entatives of the United States of America, in Cong refs Afftmbled, That the bond heretofore given, or which may here after be given by the marlhal of any di ft rift, lor the faithful performance of the duties of his office, fliall be filed and recorded in the office of the cleric ofthediftrift court or cir cuit coui t, fitting within the dtftrift for which such marlhal Qull have been appoin, ted, and copies thereof certified by the clerk; under the fed of the said court, lhall he com! petent evidence In any court of joflice. Sec. a.
