To-day the market lost strength, and a do- cline to $1 05 took place with considerable sales at that figure. There waa some show of a better feeling as to Provisions, on Tuesday, but it amounted to no improvement in the trade, and transac tions have, throughout the week, been limi ted to a moderate consumptive demaud. Prices for staff have undergone little or no change. Mess Pork continues to be hold at $33 50, but it is not wauted at better than $33, and not iu large request at that. Lard is held at 20c, but with sourcely auy inquiry, and Bales conld not be effected with out conceding full Jo. Bulk Shoulders are held at 14c, yet are not saleable at more than 13Jc.
