We quoto from the Commercial of the 28th.
Ubaxm—There was hardly anything doing
in Wheat to-day, aud the market was dull and
heavy, and the tendency of prices was down-
ard at the dose, though not quotably lower.
Winter Red wm freelv offered at $1 lo to 1 20,
but buyers were holding back in anticipation
of lower prioaa. Hill Wheat was quiet at
$1 25. White was inactive and prioea nomi
nal. Corn was in moderate demand to-day,
and the market was firmer under light re
ceipts. Prime sold at 96c at landing, and 96o
at oanal, and at Kentucky Central Railroad
90c. The offerings were not free at
these figures, however, holders in most
instances holding out for higher figures.
Shelled is quoted at same rates as ear, though
1 to 2c higher was asked in some instances. The
saIos were: 500 bushels shelled at landing
90o; 200 bushels do. at canal 93o, and 350
bushels at Kentuoky Central Railroad 90c.—
Oats were firmer under a fair local de
mand and only moderate offerings. While
was iu demand at 56 to 56o; No. 1 mixed 54 to
55c, No. 2 do. 52o, and rejected 48 to 60o.—
The sales were: COO bushels rejected at O.
and M. elevator 48o; 700 bushels No. 2 at I
and C. elevator 54o; 700 bushels do at I. and
C. 55o. Barley was in good demand and the
market was firm at $1 65 for No. 1 Fall.—
Spring wm quiet at $1 35 for No. 1.
Puo vision a—There was a fair consumptive
demand to-day for baoon, but tho market for
other artioles was quiet but generally firm.
Mesa pork was quiet at $32. Bulk meats were
held at 14jo for shoulders. No clear rib or
rib sides on tbe market. Clear sides held at
18c. Bacon shoulders held at 16 jc. Clear rib
and clear sides sold at 20c. Lard was quiet at
18c for prime oity in tierces.

Line Railroad Company, on the 17th day of Sep

on tho Capital Stock as follow*, viz: Twenty-five per
cent., payable on or before the 1st day of October, 1869,
and thirty per cent., payable on or before the 1st day of
November, 1869, and that the Treasurer publish such
rcquiaitlnon at once, and urge (he prompt collection
of tho same, with authority to give Stockholder* the
assurance of tho Road that, upon prompt payment
thereof, the flrat Division of twenty milea will be com
