2 NT This system is new, entirely unknown to others, originating with us. Whal seems most incredible is, that many diseases heretofore pronounced incurable arc often cured in a single day, and others in a few treatments. No shocks given in any case whatever. The sensations experienced are, perhaps, the most delightful, soothing ami invigorating known on earth. Kven infants treated with the greatest success. No infectious diseases treated. The great Vitalic Medicated System of 1 fealing all manner, of diseases in which Electricity, with its auxiliaries, is employed, on the new principle, constitutes the essence of LIFE, HEALTH and LONGEVITY, by which all dis- eases can bo cured, and life prolonged to a very old age. This new system of medical practise is now thorough aud complete in all its parts, aud is fust superseding all other systems of medioal practice, and in every community the people are seeking for physi cians of this school of practice. In this practice no crank, horse-shoe magnet, or old- fashioned shocking machine is used for the production of electricity; but a new galvanic machine, invented expressly o md adapted to the nets system of treatment. An instrument that requires no crank or friction point to give it motion and power, but is a beautifully contrived machine, pro I c ig no shook or injuries, even to the weakest patient. It is self-acting, producing its own electricity, motion and power, and is powerful in the cure of disease. TO THE LADIES. Ur. PORTER would say that he has dovoted si xteen years to the study and cure of Diseiuu of Mmoles, and during that time ho has beon consulted by thousands of lady patients, in all the various and difficult diseases of the gentler sex, who are his living witnesses, attesting the complete cures he has made for them, and can make for others, for the new treatment speedily cures every case, and restores to health, happiness and usefulness, every female, whether she lie old or young. There is hope for all I The Doctor treats all difficult cases, and everyone can apply to him in perfeot confidence. I lo need not take up the reader’s time with cer tificates, (although he has thousands,) for his patients have been so numerous, and his success so boundless, that his living witnesses are everywhere speaking words of praise wherever he is known. The Doctor invites the worst oases of disoases of any kind, and if he succeeds in curing the few cases that may apply, his reputation is established here, and the institute to which he lielongs will receive large accessions to its number of patients, for hundreds are applying from all sections of the United States for trentraont. Physicians of all schools are laying aside their old, injurious system of practice, and are adoptiug this new, safe aud complete system with overwhelming success. Ladies anil gentleman of intelligence are also learning and practicing the new system with great success, and the people are constantly asking for more physicians of our new school of practice. Dr. Porter will inatruot any Physician, or any lady or gentlemen of intelligence or character, to practioe successfully, and furnish them with medicines, machines, and all needed appliances at moderate terms. A revolution in medicine. As in the Apos- lolic day, again the blind see—the deaf hear—the lame walk—the halt made whole— the rheumatic and suffering restored. THE NEW SCHOOL. It cannot be denied that there exists a wide-spread dissatisfaction with what Is called the Regular Medioal practice, if, indeed, a series of vague and uncertain incongruities deserve to be called by that name. Multitudes of people express an utter want of oon- lidonoe in physicians and their physic. How rarely do their nauseous poisons do good. How often do they make patients really worse. How many would have lived Imdthey never touched holes grannie, tincture or powder. How many publicly declare that Doctor so-and-so killed their relative or child. Even the regular Allopathio and •Hommpathio practitioners express an utter want of confidence in their remedies.
