Th* week opens with ovary activity mani
fested In the market. The artlole of meney
being decidedly plenty, no lack of buyers are
here. Orders ars eoatinuallv pearing hi, and
shipments going forward. These are princi

however—there leing but little demand for
any distant point. The only article which

Conflicting rumors reach us In reference to
shipments of Western Produce. We give tbei
to our readers as they reach us, without vouch

sensation dispatches continually arriving that
have nothing to substantiate them, that we ad

truth is ascertained.
Dan Able, the efficient President of the St.

no more Provisions will be allowed to pass
Cairo.
It is certain that tbe Dickey had a quantity
of Bacon rolled off her deck at that point that
was destined to Memphis, (20 casks). Tobac
co, butter, and some other articles are allowed
to ness; also passengers. Sosey the dispatches.
We advise all to keep tbeir money at home,

can without our funds. Let them see to the

Atlanta certainly has no reason to coi
of scarcity of this article. The liberal
