ATLANTA, May 27, 1861.
Nothing nnususl transpired yesterday. The
market is steady and holders firm at Saturday's
quotations. No freight ol consequence is be
mg received from any point from beyond Nasn-
ville. Small lots ol Bacon and other Produce
are arriving, and quits a quantity of Corn reach
ed us yesterday. There is certainly enough to
stand the season without soma extraordinary
demand is created.
Wo noticeeeveral shipments of Produce from
the country stations, wnich is a vary good ar
gument that they have mor« than they need
at home. Some few shipments have also arri
ved from East Tennessee. The business at the
Western A Atlantic Railroad is still large, and
a general prosperity is visible everywhere
along tha line. Ere long the wheat crop will
commence pouring in, and tha Railroad men
do not anticipate any slack in buaintss this
season.
The Western news is unimportant. No ar
rivals on record.
M0NETERY.
Everything quiet. No demand for money.
Deposits are very fair, and business more
briskly and prosperously.
