And be it further enacted, That there shall be levied, collected aud paid, on each aud every uon-enuiuersted article which bears asiimlitude, either iq material, quality, text ure, or the uses to which it may be applied, to any enumerated articles chargeable with duty, the same rate of duly whicn is levied and charged on tho enumerated article by the for*, going schedules which it most resembles in soy of the particulars before mentioned; and if any non-enumerated article equally rsetm bles two or more enumerated articles on which different rates of duty are chargeable, tuere shall be levied, collected and paid on such non-enumerated article, the same rate of doty as is chargeable on the article which it resem bles paying the highest duty. Beo. 3. i4nd be it further enacted, That all goods, wares, and merchandise, which may be in the public stores as unclaimed, or in ware house uuder warehousing bonds, on tha 31st day of August next, shall be subject on entry thereof lor consumption, to such duty aa if the same had been imported, respectively, after that day. Skc. 4.
