last, a negro man named Daniel, about sixty yea.s
of age. though he does not appear to be more than
forty, a little gray and inclined to be bald, upwards
of five feet high, and has lost a finger from one
hand, I think the right. He has a wife at Mr. E.
Reeds. Columbia county, and may be urking about
there. It is probable he has been enticed away by
some white man, and have gone to Savannah or
Alabama; if so. I will give the above reward for
the detection of the white man and proff to con
viction. or I will pay twenty-five cents for the ar
rest of Daniel.
