| CINQ JOURS,
ANTi-BALSAMiC GONORRHCEAL SOLUTION,
Warranted to cure in Five Days.
'■'HIS incomparab’e and invaluable remedy so
JL long known, and usee with such unparraileied
success in the Canadas lor the last 30 ycajs, ap
pears to need no panegyric. its operation upon the
human system is such that it invariably acts like
a charm,'for the relief and radical cure of a certain
common and disagreeable‘'ills the flesh is heir to.”
This prize obtains its own name from the certain j
success which has attended it through ali of its
trving circumstances, namely, “five days," —the
same success which followed it in a Northern lati
tude stiil obtains in a more Southern. The formula
or recipe was obtained at great expense, intrigue
and hazard by M. Cheveres, from the celebrated j
Indian Chief Waswothe. or Great Moon, whilst
he. with other's was pursumgthe lucrative Fur bu
siness in the North-west with the Indians. —
Wabenoshe prized highly and use it with invariable
success throughout Iris two tribes. Its known and
valued virtues have already enriched to an a most
incredible extent the children of this warlike prince,
not only by actual sale of the article itself to in
dividuals, bat by parting with copies of his receipt
at enormous prices to the Chief of every tribe of
Indians in America, with a solemn promise to the
Great Spirit, never to divulge the “art of its com
position until he sleeps with his fathers,” although
free to use it in their respective tribes, which
places it in the hands of every Indian who rely
with, 1 may say, religious confidence on its cura
ble powers.
Below is a copy of the translation as near as it can
be anglisized of the deed given by Wabenoshe. to
>l. Cheveret. when he purchased the original recipe,
and had twice assisted the Chief himself through
the tedious manipulatory process of manufacture.
Few white men would credit the length of time
which is consumed in preparing the article for im
mediate use.
TRASSLATIOX.
“I, Wabenoshe, Chief of the nations Ottowa and
Chippewa, for the love and good feeling which I
have for my white friend M. Cheveret, he has
done many good things for me and my people.) I
give to him my greatest cure for the bad sickness
which my children have had sent among them as
a punishment by the Great Spirit, and hope that in
Iris hands it may do much good, and make him very
rioir.”

I is to su: due every vestige of mflamation, and then
acts mildly and copiously as a diuretic ; thereby
holding within itself, every requisite virtue, for
the subduction of this loathsome malady —and ev
ery regular graduate in medicine, will sustain the
that copious diuresis and reduction of in
flation, are the only two things necessary to efleet
; a'souud and radical cure
The most peculiar virtue of the “Cinq Jours,”
is in this, that wherever it alone has been used to
aifect a cure. Irene of these tenacious and disagree
able consequences which almost invariably results
from the sudden cure of Gonorrhoea, have been
known loo', lain such as stricture, hernia, humoi
alis, incontinence, and a swarm of other of the
m«st loathsome, perplexing, and disagreeable dis
eases, consequent upon erroneous diagnosis and
treatment of Gonorrhoea.
Those affected are requested to call and try for
themselves. If the prescriptions are we.l follow
ed and fail to cure, the money will m every case be
returned.

' I tHESE Pills are no longer among those of doubt
1. ful utility. They have passed away from the
hundreds that are daily launched upon the tide of
experiment, and now stand before the public as
high in reputation, and as extensively employed in
ail parts of the United States, the Canadas, Texas
Mexico, and the West indies, as any medicine tha>
has ever been prepared for the relief of suffering
man. They have teen introduced wherever it was
found possible to cairy them ; and there are but
few towns that do not contain some remarkable
evidences of their goed eifccts. The certiticates
that have been presented to the prop* ictor exceed
twenty thousand! upwards of live hundred of
which are from regular practising physicians, wha
are the most ccm[>eier.t judges of their merits.
( ften have the cures performed by this mediciu
been the subject of editorial comment, in Variou
newspapers and journals ; and it may with truth be
asserted, that no medicine of the km 1 has ever re
ceived testimonials ol greater value thin are at
tached to this.
They are in general use as a family medicine
and there aj-Cjthousands of families who declare they
re never satisfied until they have a supply always
on hand.
They have no rival in curing and preventing
Billions Fevers, Fever and Ague, Dyspepsia, Liver
Complaints, Sick Headache, Jaundice, Asthma,
Dropsy, Rheumatism, Enlargement of the Spleen,
piles, Choiic, Female Obstructions, Heartburn,
Furred Tongue, Nausea, Distension of the stomach
and Rowels, Incipient Diarrhoea.F latulcncejiaoilu
al Costiveaess, Loss of Appetite, Blotched or Saiiow
Complexion, and in cases of torpor of the bowels,
where a cathartic or aperient is needed They are
exceedingly mild in their operation, producing
neither nausea, griping no: debilitv.
The following was forwarded to Dr. Peters, by a
highly respectable Planter of Wake County, No
j Ca ,March 3d,lS‘3S:
Dr. Peters —Dearsir, By requestof youragent,
Mr. Harrison. I send you a few lines respecting the
almost miraculous effects of your piPs; and I would
that you may make use ol them, in connection
with my name, in any manner you deem proper, I
speak of their merits from experience, as I and my
family have taken upwards of thirty boxes in thiee
years ; and so great: k> the benefits we have receiv
ed from them in general, that I would rather pur
chase them at ten do! iars abox than have mv house
without them. 1 will not enumerate Ibe a&icticLS
they have relieved us of-, but I can assure you they
were many, and of very opposite natures, which
has fu;ly proved to me that your medicine is a sim
ple punner of the system, and therefore equally
the enemy of every disease. I will mention one
case. 1 have a sister who had been for a long pe
riod sc’ erely afflicted with dropsy in the chest and
was brought by it to the very verge of the grave.
She was attended by the most eminent physicians
that money could procure; but all their efforts to
restore her to health, or even to mirigate her smler
mgs were fruitless and accordingly,we an consid
ered her immediate death as inevitable, iy good
fortune, however, as she was in this situation, ex
pect rg every day to be her la-t. your pills were
introduced into my family, and so speedy and pal
pable were their clfccts teat thiee coses visibly ie
lieved her, and in loss than three months she * wa
perfectly restored to health, This case, I and all
wno were witness of it, (but moie especially the
suffering parly, considered to be the next thing to
miracuious; and yet I could mention manv mo;e
of an equally desperate nature, in which your pills
were equally successful in rescuing the* patients
from the jaws of death. Need I add that the popu
larity of your medicine amounts tc enthusiasm in
this section of the country ; But this I presume
you know from the immense quantity you dispose
of 1 may mention, however,l:;at notwithstanding
its general use, I never heard an individual complain
of its effects. My residence is 12 miles from i ai
eigh, on the road to Fayetteville. I am, with sen
timent' of regard, your obrt servant-
A. G. BANKS.
To Dr. Peters. —Sir —For upward l of fifteen
months, 1 have been c.uelly afflicted with Fever
and Ague ; and during the time could und nothing —
though I had applied to every tiling that gave me
any thing like permanent relief. At length, how
ever, your pills were recommended to me. jy one
of our best phi sicrans, and 1 am most gratefu. an-,
happy in being able to add, that 1 had scarcely used
two boxes wien I fonad that they had restored me
to penect health. Since then, various members of
my family have used them with equal success—
and consequently I feel it my duty to apprise v o-r
of the fact, and to request of you to pub.ish this
certificate, as lam anxious to add try put ::c testi
mony to the almost miraculous virtues of you: un
rivafied medicine Respectfully yours.
