Flow —The market for Western Flour since our
] a ct repsit has presented a very dull appearam e,
and we have heaid of no sales beyond the small
viicels usually required for immediate uce. The
receipts from the interior are considerable ; toe
stock, however, is yet quite light. We hive re
duced our quotation of Genesee to conform to the
rates at wnich sales could probably be effected,
though us yet there have been no of ;
importance to establish a reduction in prices. We
;uote Ohio, $5 12} ia> $5 25 ; and Michigan, $5 isl
id 124. without tales. Southern also is
Georgetown and Howard street (to which the stock
is mo-tly confined,) may be quoted $5 624 575
for common and fancy brands.
Molcsses. —Good and prime qualities are in re-'
quest, with a better feeling, and the market gener- ,
allv within the last SO days has advanced 2(0*3-j
cents gallon. Sales have been made of a carge j
of 314 casks sour Malanzas, just received, fordis-f
tilling, on terms we did not learn ; 100 hhds. prime
Porto Rico, 31 cents; and 50 New-Orleans 30, both
4 mos. By auction 50 hhds. Porto Rico, sold at

Spirits—There is a moderate demand for Biandy f
from the trade within the range of our quotations; |

ertions in the good cause. In order, therefore, to

copies for ONE DOLLAR.

IT PON the petition of William Bostwick, setting
j forth that he was in the possession of a pre
missoiy note, made by one John P. Coles, dated on
the 30th day of July, 1819, and payable sixty days
after date, to the order of William Bostwick &Co.,
for tnrec hundred and seventy live 45-100 dollar >,
which was destroyed by’ fire on the eighth of Au
gust, 1826, and praying this court to establish a
copy in lieu of said original note so destroyed: I
is ordered, that the said John P. Coles do show
cause, at the next term of this court, why a copy
should not be established in lieu of said original
note. It is furlhcruidered, that a copy of this rule
be served on the said John P. Coles thirty days
prior to the next term, or be published once a
month for four months prior thereto, in one of the
public gazettes of the city of Augusta.

on, or before the first Monday in January next.
It is further ordered, that the Commissioner in
Equity, for Barnwell Ditsrict, do sell at auction,

Hamburg, on a credit until the first day of January

THE HABERSHAM HOTEL.

JL have taken this spacious building, situated in
the village of Clarkesville,and which is now ready
for the accommodation of large families and travel
lers in general. There are about forty rooms, all
large and comfortable, large stables, extensive lots,
and pastures, and every other comfort and conven
ience that can be had in the up country.
The village of Clarkesville is so situated that in
a few hours’ ride, any person can visit either of
the following places; the Tallulah Falls, with a
precipice of bOU feet; the Tuccoa Fails, 182 feet
fall; the Naucoochee Valley, and Mount Yonah,
from he top, a height of 12C0 feet, the most splen
did view is seen in the Southern country. In the
neighborhood of the Valley are extensive gold
mines, and a short days’ ride from the Georgia
Mint.
All these attractions, added to the health of the
climate, make Clarkesville a desirable summer
residence.
On the route from Madison Springs to Clarkcs
ville, near the Currahee Mountain, is a strong
mineral Spring.
The subscribers flatter themselves that by- un
remitting kindness, added to the above attractions,
they will give general satisfaction to all who will
favor them With a call.

sity, and five from the Scull Shoals Factory. The

adapted to the culture of cotton and corn, and grain
of all kinds ; and as to health, none more so in
Georgia —well watered —in fact it cannot be beat
for good water and a plenty of it. Should any per -
son wish such a settlement, they will of course
lookfor themselves —we therefore deem it unneces
sary to say any thing farther about it. We should
be pleased to sell soon, so as to enable us to make
our other arrangements.
