on the current rates up to Saturday’s repoit. One
lot of some 120 bales was sold day before yesterday
at cents, and a fraction over, the quality said to j

in the weather for the better, will no doubt have a
salutary effect on the growing ciop.> of Cotton.

tation in Jefferson county, containing between
5,000 and 6,000 acres of Laud ; the Corn, Fodder,

tion. It is deemed unnecessary to say much in re
gard to the above property, as it is expected that
persons wishing lo purchase will make inquiry.—
It is sufficient to say’ that the Negroes are of supe
rior quality and good character, and can be recom
mended as such.
The sale will continue from day to day till all
are so d. The terms of sale are cash, as the sale
ot the above property is intended to meet the de
mands ol the subscriber’s creditors, whose demands
will be taken as cash, or any arrangement with
any ol my creditors will answer the same purpose.
