Rice —Our Rice market has undergone no charge
since our last report. The sales o| tnc week, al
though moderate, have been at fulljprices. Aoout

Flour —There is no alteration topotice. Prices
are unchanged, and the demand limited to small

Lay— In the early part of the preek there was
some deman i, and about 700 pr’udles changed

last show a considerate reduction Cn the business
of the two previous weeks, as the sifles do not ex
ceed 3611 baies of ail qualities ; lie market has
exhibited considerable languor throughout the
week, and that too in (he lace of very light re
ceipts. The high prices here, compared with
those on the other side of the watejr, have driven
for fuieign account out ft the maiket,
and for some d iys past our home dealers have on y
been able to execute unlimited orders. 'The sa es

The effect of the exceedingly stingent measures ;
on the part of the Bank of England for contracting
the circulation, has een much more sensibly felt j

less favorable aspect of the C otton market, the i
i prices of goods end yams being greatly depressed. ;
The sales for the week ended this day, amount to ;
