Mrs. Johnson is S sister to Bobert Rogers and Mrs. Alex ander. Mr. Alexander became addicted to tbe use of ardent spirits, and was very contrary. He threaten ed harsh meaeuree against Mr. lingers, unless he made over a deed of the property in dispute to Mrs. Johnson. The deed was so made out to be held in trust for Mrs. Alexander. But by au error the deed wee written out transferring without condition the pr perty to Mrs. Johnson. 8hortly after Alexander was dying, and then he wanted the deed made over to hto wife property, no that her rights might be se cured. But Mrs. Johnson, although she acknowl edged that she ‘ ut held it in trust, neglected to do so. Alexander died. Ever since that time his relict has been living in undisputed possession of the pro perty. How, however, Mrs. Johuson brings suil against her sister for possession of foe property which she claims by reason of the alleged error.— The decision will probably be r-udered to-day. Bnslnesa Men of Atluntu. Every city has among its population, men distin gttlahed for success in particular lines of business, and to such men must every city bo indebted for its prosperity. Prominent among the business me this city, and honored alike for their integrity enterprise, is the dry goods bouse of Phillip Flanders. Both these gentlemen have success! established their claim on public confidence. It has been their desire to build up in Atlanta an eiupori. where all lines of goods could bo obtained at as r ■onable prices as could be obtained elsewhere.
