ten gains of the Ring legislated ont of

Tk* Constitution provide* that the
Legislature may prolong ite Aemiou be
yond 40 days, by a vote of two-third* of
each branch. Conley claim* that such a
resolution must bo submitted to him for
approval, and either receive hi* sanction,
or be passed over his veto, as in case of
other bills. He qnote* Article 8, Section
6, Paragraph 6 of the Constitution, as
follows:
“No provision ia this Constitution for
a two-third* vote of both houses of the
General Assembly shall be oonati-ted to
waive ,tbe necessity for the signature of
the Governor a* fa other tint except fa
* case of the top-third* vote required
over-rid* the voto.” ^

provision of the Constitution has

acknowledge, who taken the trouble to

Article 4, Section 2, Paragraph 7, pro

houses may be necessary except on a ques

presented to the Governor,"etc.
Both Tjmnee, on Saturday, passed a
resolution to Mntinae the session until
next Saturday by * two-thirds vote. That
we* a voto on a “ quedion of adjourn
ment." The subjeoi of adjournment,

question was, should the session be pro
longed? They decided not to edjonrn et
