Tha victim, Isaac Faunlloroy, was a boy of about niueteen years of ago. Ho was tho drivor of tha carriage of the Bisters of Meroy, had been raised and kept in the employment of the Bisters since he was ton years of ago, and wss a member of the Oatholio Church end a very worthy young man. We give bolow the version of this af fair given to uh by a delegation of colored men, of whom Wiley Wynne waa the ohief spokesman. We have no doubt that their accouut is Btrictly true. At a sociable parly at the house of Phillis Andrews, oolored, about half 11 o’clock, a crowd of rowdy negroes made their appearance aud demanded to sea a person in the house, saying that unless bo came out they would shoot into the honse, and it wonld not be known who did it. Homo of the young men in the house (all of whom were oolored) hearing this, went out aud asked what was their business there. The reply waa that they came to have » settlement with Spencer aud Burtou. Barton went to wards Willy Biggers, and the latter drew a pistol and fired into the crowd, hitting Ieaao Fauntloroy, tho youth above men tioned, the ball entering his breast and in dieting a wound of which he can hardly recover. Big gers then ran, and was immediately fol lowed by the youug meu who had beeu in the house—they uot wailing to see wheth er his shot had hurt any one. They caught and whipped him, and then turned him loose, bnt he was arrested by the police during the night and committed to jail. The affray and shooting did not ooour in the house, but outside in the street, betwoon the gates of Phillis Andrews and —— Baine. All the persons mentioned above are colored. We learned that, during yesterday, the following negroes were arrested as acces sories to the killing: Neil Combs, Bam Combs, Tom Leonard, and Alas. Pollard.
