About 8 o'clock yesterday morning, at
the residence of Mrs. Sarah Banks in
Wyunton, white the family ware at break
fast, Mr. W. Kelly Banks was inquired
for, and his brother. Dr. E. A. Buka, and
mother went to his room and found him
prostrated on tbs floor, a small Smith A
Wesson pistol near him, oae barrel of
whioh had been discharged. Th* ball
had pasaaed through his hud, killing him
instantly. Dr. Banks had passed the
night in tha earns room, and laft him bat
a short Urns—perhaps half an hoar. Th*
unu la unknown. Ha had bean unwell
for several days, and apparently labored
under much mantel depression. When
found ha wu undressed, hawing risen
from bed only a little while. A few mo-
manta previously a servant had entered
the room and discovered him sitting in a
chair. No one heard tha report of tha
pistol.

family is among tha lint in tha country.
