The services were very interesting, and was a feeling tribute to the memory of a great and good man, whose whole life was spent in the service of the Master. Mrs. Jane Reed died at her residence on Eighth street yesterday morning at 1 o’clock, after a lingering illness. Hlie was one of the oldest resi dents of Columbus and was 84J year® of age. She had been a consistent member of the First Baj - tist church for many years, and died in the full assurance of a blessed immortality. For many years she was cared for by the Odd Fellows of this city and a few charitable members of the First Baptist church. In her will she left all her property, including a small house and lot and a ft w personal effects, to the Odd Fellows. She was truly a good woman, ami was always faithful to her friends.
