The hearing on the rule nisi, if one is granted, may take place in Savannah, hut there is no certainty that it will. Simmons’ Iron Cordial sends red blood to the cheeks of the sickly one and strength to the muscles, by giving an ap- " building petite, aiding digestion and building up the system. All sickly women who need Youth's Companion. Vertigo is from a I.atin word that means to turn. It denotes an ailment character ized by a sudden feeling of dizziness and at times by actual falling. Sometimes sur rounding objects seem to the person at tacked, to whirl round, or the floor lor ground) to rise up. The fact that vertigo is often one of the earlier symptoms of ap oplexy frequently fills the person with ter- ror, lest that deadly disease may be im pending. But in the majority of enses it no such significance, not events indicating a tendency. ' * To most persons, standing or walking •seems a very simple thing. On the contra- ry, it is a very Complicated one, and re quires the concurrent action of different nervous centres. A disturbance of their harmonious co-operation at once throws us ■off our balance, prpducing the sensations above indicated. One form of vertigo—a very persistent form—is due to irritation of certain nerves within the innermost chamber of the ear, the so-called labyrinth. This was what Dean Swift suffered from so long, and, to the physicians of his day, so unaccounta bly. One of its symptons is temporary deafness. This distinguishes it from all other forms. Another form connects itself mainly with the eye. Of this kind is the feeling of gid diness, which some people have when, be ing on a train at rest, another train slowly passing deceives them into the idea that it is their own train which lias begun to move. The giddiness occurs at the mo ment when the false and true sensations become confused togather. ; In the ease of the near-sighted, the inter nal muscles of the eye often being unduly strained in their effort to converge the eye sufficiently for the sight of near objects, a never-failing Female llegulator will lie delighted with its prompt action. suddenly give way, when the eyeballs turn the out and the letters run into each other. This is accompanied by a feeling of giddi ness, eyeache, headache and sometimes nausea. A third form connects itself with some ■slight disorder of the stomach, and occurs most often when the stomach is empty. There is a sudden swimming in the head, objects seem to revolve, and the person totters and perhaps falls. The fourth for m is purely of nervous ori gin, and is due to nervous exhaustion. It may be caused by intellectual overstrain, long continued anxiety, physical excesses, or the immoderate use of too; bacco, alcohol or tea. Elevated positions may bring on ely an attack. It rarely results in actual fall ing, butoftener in the feeling of being about to fall. REJOICING IN BULGARIA. Overt It ron of the Revolutionists—Heroism of Prince Alexander. Beni, August 26. —The czar has ordered that Prince Alexander be forwarded to Kisseneff, if he refuses to accept his abdi cation as an accomplished fact. The towns of Bulgaria are decked with flags and there is general rejoicing at the over throw of the rebels. The prince was pressed by fourteen dis affected officers to sign an abdication, and if h was promised that if he signed it he would be allowed to leave the country unmolested. Neither that nor the threats which fol lowed could induce the hero of Slivnitza to put his name to the abdication. The prince never hesitated one moment, but daring his aggressors to do their worst cast from him the document that was to have secured his freedom. THE MYSTERIOUS YACHT. He was taken to Rahova, where a small yacht was in waiting. This craft was manned by a crew not exclusively com posed of Bulgarians. There seems to be some doubt as to the nationality of the yacht, but the riverside population declare it sped along with greater rapidity than .any Danube steamer. A detachment of Bulgarian troops with fixed bayonets was seen on board. When the yacht passed Rustehuk and Silistria deputations had already arrived there from the Karaveloff government to hail the vessel and to re ceive the prince when he should land. No notice was taken of the signals they made. BIG ENGLISH BLAZE. Numerous cleverly concocted certificates are forced upon the unsuspecting, purporting to have '‘.snatched from the grave’' some poor victim of blood poison, or other disease, when to our know ledge, the identi* cal persons lay groaning in agony while the pub lic were reading of their remarkable recovery. Another serious offense is the publication of erroneous statements concerning various drugs, such as are daily prescribed by ojr best phy sicians, declaring them ho deadly poison.
