from his pen a- entertaining and spirited
ns those which havo heretofore given so
much i»vt«we~L to our columns.
Capt. Oliver has not been ahlo-to ren

sunstroke and sickness which prostrated
him in Virginia. We understand that
he is now charged with the collection of
wool and other produoo for the Govern

see, Fla. It is a responsible position, and
onethgt can be made of much benefit to
the service. We doubt not that its
duties will be discharged faithfully and
satisfactorily by Capt. Oliver, and we
trust that that field of .labor will he both
agreeable and Invigorating t» him.
