fer Aon, and Mr. Hill, of Dougherty, op
posed it. Air. Jones, of Burko, and Ha
zard, of Fulton, supported tho hill, with
logical and sensible speeches.
Air, Tram moll in the chair, Mr. llardo-
uisin spoke at length against the bill; op
posed it on constitutional grounds.' Hi*
reasoning was clear and hi* argument*
forcible. At tho eloso of hi* speech the
House adjourned till :J p. m.

urged in a forcible manner constitutional
objections to tho bill. Hi? speech on this
