The most gentle as well as the ‘most powerful medicines are administered by hat means, without any pain, trouble or disgust to the patient. They are a never failing remedy in all cutane ous ass. etions; from Psora, Ringworms, &c. to Scaldhead and Leprosy. They also have neve? tailed of success in either acute or chronic rheu matism. In glandular obstructions, chlorosis, anasarcous wellnigs, incipient dropsy; in all diseases oflhe joints, gouty affections dispersion of tumors, iff cured syphilis, spasmodic or nervous affections; m all bilious disorders, dyspepsia, bypocondriasis, epilepsy—iliese baths have been found most ser viceable, ami have often succeeded even in here ditary complaints. In fine, this manner of admin istering almost every remedy belonging to the healing an, may be tendered applicable to almost every case, and (it is repealed) without any pain, rouble, or disgust to the patient. It is ■is > useful in disease of the Liver.” CERTIFICATES. 1 have within the last two years had an oppor tunity of seeing several cases of very inveterate ulcers which havi. g resisted previously the regu lar modes of treatment, were healed by the use it Mr. Swaim’s Panacea, and I do believe, from what I have seen that it will prove an important remedy in scrofulous, veherialand mercurial dis eas-'s N. Professor of the Institutes and Practice of Physic, in the University of Pennsylvania. 1 have employed the Panacea of Mr. Swaim in numerous instances, within the last three years, and have always found it extremely efficacious! especially in secondary syphilis, and mercurial diseases, 1 have no bestUation in pronouncing it a medicine of inestimable value.
