TT is well known that there is greate-onomy in crush- t ing or grinding the kernels of all grain before feed lag it to stock, au-1 that there is much nutriment in the mb when properly broken or ground And the only reason that mills arranged to produce these desired le- "ills have not been move generally introduced amont planters and farmers, has been their complex arrange ment and high cost. In the Kentucky Cora and Cob Mill, of which thr above is an accurate engraving, we claim to have pro duced a machine at once efficient, substantia! cheap, while its arrangement is so simple that most ordinary hand can adjust and operate it. T. machine, unlike any other, is regulated by means of <, single set screw, which is easily moved by baud, and is applied directly under the center of the mill. Any one using these Mills will find a clear saving of one quarter of their corn over the old plan of feeding We warrant our Mills to give entire satisfaction.— Purchasers may use them for thirty days and if uot satisfied, can return them and get their money. The advantages claimed by us for the Pennsylvania Thresher over any other in general use. are the follow ing: 1. Its great strength and simplicity. 2. Its ability to do more work each day tliancau be performed b.f any other machine driven by four horses. 3. It is portable, and is easily hauled by two horses on a wagon: and can be loaded or unloaded, and put in operation in 30 mihutes. 4. We have also succeeded in removing what has heretofore been so objectionable in other machines, to- ■vvit: tbe necessity for great speed on the part of the horses—our machine heiug so geared as as to accom plish greater motioD with less speed in driving. We have manufactured and sold over 200 of these machines during the past season, (and in no instance has one been returned,) under The following WARRANTEE. CLABKE.A GRUBB. for tlte rapid cure of Coughs, Colds, Hoarseness, Bronchitis, Whooping-cough, Croup, Asthma, and Consumption. This remedy is offered to the community with the confidence we feel in an article which sel dom fails to realize the happiest effects that can be desired. So wide is + he field of its usefulness and so numerous the cases of its cures, that almost every section oi the country abounds in per sons. publicly known, who have been restored from alarming and even desperate dis eases of the lungs, by its use. When once tried its superiority over every other medicine of its kind are too apparent to escape observation, and where its vir tues are known, the public no longer hesitate what an tidote to employ for the distressing and dangerous af fections ot the pulmonary organs, which are incident to our climate. Nothing has called louder for the earnest enquiry of medical men, than the alarming prevalance and fatali ty of consumptive complaints, nor has any one class of diseases had more of their investigation and care. But is yet no adequate remedy has been provided, on which the public could depend for protection from at tacks upon the respiratory organs, until the introduc tion of the Cherry Pectoral. This article is the pro duct of a long laborious endeavor, to furnish the community with such a remedy. Of this last state ment the American people are now themselves pre pared to judge, and I appeal with confidence to their decision. If there is any dependence to he placed in what men of every class and station certify it has done ‘or them, if we can trust our own senses, when we see dangerous affections of the throat and lungs yield to it, if vecan depend on the assurance of intelligent Physicians, who make it their business to know,—in short, if there is any reliance upon anything, then it irrefutably proven that this medicine does relieve and does cure the classes of diseases it js designed for. be yond anv and all others that ate known to mankind. If this be true, it cannot be too freely published, nor he too widely known. Tho afflicted should know it. A remedy that cures is priceless to them. Parents should know it, their children are priceless to them. All should know it, for health can he priced to no one.— Not only should it be circulated here, but everywhere, not oniy in this country but all countries. How faith fully we have acted on this conviction is shown in the fact that already this article has made the circle of the globe. The sun never sets on its limits. No continent is without it. Although not in so general use in other nations as in this, it is employ ed by the more intelligent in almost all civilized coun tries. It is extensively employed in both Americas— in Europe. Asia, Africa, Australia and the far off islands cf the sea. Life is as dear to its possessors there as here, and they grasp at a valuable remedy with even more avidity than ourselves. Unlike most preparations of its kind, it is an expensive composition of costly material. Still it is afforded to the public at a reason ably low price, and is of vastly more importance to them, its quality is never suffered to decline from its original standard of excellence. Fvery bottle of this medicine, now manufactured, is as good as ever has been made heretofore, or as we are capable of making. No toil or cost isspared, in maintaining it in tha best perfection which it is possible to produce. Hence the patient who procures the genuine Cherry Pectoral, can rely on having as good an article as has ever been had by those who testify to its enres. By pursuing this course I have the hope of doing some good in the world, as well as the satisfaction of believing that much has been done already. PREPARED BY L'R J. C.
