A tornado passed through Tewksbury and
other towns of Middlesex county, on Friday
last, demolishing everything in its range,
including orchards, corn fieldo, two barns,
and other property. Largo trees were up
rooted and carried some distance—in some
cases as far as eighty feet. Tim path of the
tornado was from ten to twenty feet wide.

broken open, through which the perpetrators
