As a family medicine, it has already acquired

Mi/ Dear Sir.-—In justice to you and a duty
I owe to a suffering, and, 1 may say, a world ol
coughing people, I sl*te tvhat your invaluable
Cough Remedy—your CHEWKk EXPEC

remedies have failed to give any relief. In the
fall of 1817. living in St. Louis, where I have
resided most of the time for tho last sixteen
years, I took a severe cold, which settled on my
lungs, and was confined to my bed, and dosed
and .blistered by doctors for several weeks, but
finally got on my legs ognm, but not cured of
my hard coughing, and rattling rr,d tickling iu
my throat, which continued :■ n SBinUy for
more than six months, always the oral in the
winter. My friends insisted I Lid coughed
enough to kill a dozen common men, and that
1 must be in the last stage of covouiuption. I
made up my mind that l must c.oogS my life
away. 1 left St. Louis in Bo* -<>ber last, to
travel and spend the winter in *.tw South.—
Whenjl called at your store lu Vukaburg, you
will recollect, I was coughing s - hard I could
not make my business known. You said you

tie of your CHERRY EXPECTORANT, 1
thought I would not slight you and your medi
