On Saturday last a mule, the property of Mr.
Joliu W. Ransom, of Russell county, Alabama,
waa violently attacked with cholic in the street
in Columbus, was very much swollen, and Irom
all appearances could live hu' a short lime un
less relieved. Two ounces, liquid measure, of

men relief waa perceptible, and in twenty min
utea the animal was entirely relieved.
