J„ Bept. Id. A young man, named John Horner, wus instantly killed on Saturday evening lust, on the Camden and Atlantic railroad, while at tempting to jump on the curs when in motion. Wasuinoton. Sept. 18. A sudden and heavy run caused the partial suspension of the Georgetown (D. C.) Bank of Commerce, to-day, but it redeemed its issue and paid its most needy depositors. It is sup posed the stockholders will resume in a few Cures Augue and Fever, days, as it is reported they are able and will protect the Bank. Ransom, of Russell county, Alabama, was violently attacked with cholic in the street in Columbus, was very much swollen, and (ram all appearances could live bu' a short time un- lea* relieved. Two ounces, liquid measure, of Eureka Oil was administered and in five aim ules relief was perceptible, and in twenty min utei the animal was entirely relieved.
