Afflicted Read!
I called to see a Lady from Alabama, who
had come to Atlanta on a visit. When I en-
I tered the room, I found her sitting in a chair
| with the glands of her neck so much swollen
| and inflamed, that she could not turn her head
I to the right or left, to speak so as to be heard
across the room, I prevailed with her to try En-
r-ka Oil. She consented, and commenced by
rubbing it well on the throat, and gargling fre
quently, and to my great astonishment, in three
days she pronounced herscif effectually cured,
and left for Alabama with a good supply of the
justly celebrated Euraka Oil. Sold only by
S. .1. SHACKLEFORD, Sole Ag’t.

My Dear Sir.-—In justice to you and a duty
I owe to a suffering, and, I may say, a world ol
coughing people, I side what your invaluable
Cough Remedy—your CHERRY EXPEC
TORANT—has done for me, when all other
remedies have failed to give any relief. In the
fall of I8|i, living in St. Louis, where I have
tesided most of the time for the last sixteen
years, I took a severe cold, which settled on uiy
lungs, and was confined to my bed, ami dosed
and blistered by doctors for several weeks, but
finally got on my legs again, but not cured ol
nry hard coughing, and rattling arid tickling iu

enough to kill a dozen commen men, and that
I must be in the last stage of consumption. I
made up my mind that l ruuet v-jcgli my life

travel and spend the winter in the South.—
WhenjI called at your store in Vicksburg, you
will recollect, I was coughing so Liard I could
not make my business known. You said you
would cure my cough. As you gaveme a bot
tle of your CHERRY EXPECTORANT, I
thought 1 would not slight you and yom medi

ness shall I over remember the day I did so. In
but a few days.it began to allay and diminish
my cough and tickling iu my throat, and lie-
lore I had used more than three fourths of the
conteuts ofthgt bottle, 1 was entirely cured, and
for weeks I did not even raise u cough, lliaugl
expesed day and night, in all weathers, in tra
veling. However, in March, while traveling in
North Carolina, I took a severe cold, and my
coughing commenced again, and else the tick
ling in nry throat, at intervals; and before my
arriving in New Orleans, on the 11th matron
some night, my coughing would ojiumence
and continue for an hour or tv;o. 1 soon pro-
cured another bottle from you, and in less than
two days I was entirely relieved again. I am
now determined to always keep * bottle on I
