T HE undersigned will commence, about the
first of January, 1853, at Thomasville, Ga.,
.the publication of a. Weekly Newspaper, bear-
inff the above title, which will be devoted to
LITERATURE, ART, SCIENCE, AGRI
CULTURE, GENERAL INTELLIGENCE,
THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE RE
SOURCES OF SOUTH-WESTERN GEOR
GIA, and such other subjects and things as
may be deemed worthy of notice.
The columns of the paper will contain His.
all the distressing diseases for which it is of
fered ; being those incidental to the respecta
ble female, whether married or single, and
usually known by the name of Female Com
plaints. Of these are Prolapsus Uteri, or
Falling of the Womb: Fluor Allnis, or Whites;
Chronic Injlamation and Ulceration of the
Womb; Incidental Haemorrhage, or Flooding;
Painful, suppressed and Irregular Menstrua
tion, <Spe., with all their accompanying evils,
(Cancer excepted,) no matter how severe or of
how long standing.
That this Catholicon is in every way wor
thy of the confidence of the afflicted as a suc
cessful, safe, and cheap remedy, is vouched for
by the fact of its having received the approba
tion and liberal patronage of many prominent
members of the
MEDICAL FACULTY
in the United States; and also by the volunta
ry testimonials given in the pamphlets, from
Ladies and Physicians of the highest respect
ability, as certified by the most satisfactory
authority.
This preparation is.not a “cure all,” hut is
intended expressly for the above-named com
plaints, so very distressing in their nature and
consequences, and which have heretofore re
sisted the skill and exertions of the most ac
complished Physicians of all countries, to a
degree beyond that of perhaps any other ma
lady to which the human family is heir.
The ingredients, as certifieed by high med
ical authority, (see pamphlet,) are all vege
table, and are not associated with any article
unfriendly to the animal economy.
