EXECUTOR’S SALE.
I N pursuance of the last will and testament
of Edward McGar late of Emanuel coun
ty dec'd, will be sold before the Court-house
door in the Town of Swainsboro’in saideoun
ty on the first Tuesday in January next, the
following tracts of Land to wit: One tract
containing five hundred acres, more or less,
one tract containing three hundred acres,
more or less whereon was the houses and a
large part of the cleared land belonging to
said McGar, and known as the Stringer tract,
one tract known as the Higdon tract, contain
ing three hundred and fifty acres, more or less,
one tract known as the Ross tract, containing
nine hundred and eighteen acres, more or less,
all of said lands lying in Emanuel county and
adjoining the plantation whereon said McGar
died. Also three half acre and fraction lots
more or less lying in the Town ot Swainsbo-
ro, all to be sold as the property of Edward
McGar, late of said county deaecased, and for
the benefit of the heirs and creditors of said
dec’d. Terms twelve months credit, small
notes with good security, will be required.

late of said county, deceaced, consisting of one
tract of land containing 425 acres, lying im
mediately on the Central Railroad, 108 miles
from Savannah, and on Williamson’s swamp
adjoining lands of Spivy, Allen, Daniel. Bell
and Fokes ; said land is tolerably well im
proved and is a valuable settlement for the
production of cotton, corn, wheat* rye, oats,
&c. Also, three negroes, to wit: Sam, a fel
low about 35 years old, Frank a boy about 10
years old, and Catharine a girl 8 years of age.
