The ruffian who presented the weapon quickly informed him that a movement would cost him his lite, and the cashier being convinced that such was the esse, prudently stood still. In the meantime the accomplice rushed to ward young Rozier, at the same time drawing a pistol aod threatening him with instant death if he moved. The particular* of the daring bank robbery in Missouri will recall the strikingly similar burglary of the Bank of Columbia in this State, which occurred about twelve months ago. Four or five armed desperadoes entered the bank in broad daylight, forced the cashier to open the safe, and deterred interference from citizen* by shooting at every person who appeared upon the streets, and finally made their escape unmolested after murdering the cashier in cold blood. These men were never captured; and the circumatauce of the attack upon the bank at St. Genevieve, published elsew here, are so extraordinarily ; alike in every detail—except the murder—to the tragedy at Columbia as to suggest its be ing the work of the same desperutc scoun dreLs.
