Thomas Walter. The Board of Managers reported
satisfactory progress in revising the Bible, and expect
ed it to be finished this year. Addressee were deliv
ered by Bev. Dr. Stores, of England, and others.
The Poet acknowledges the receipt of one hundred
and atxty-two dollars for the relief of the infferere by
the epidemic in 8hreveport and neighborhood, and an
additional one hundred dollars was also forwarded by
a sugar house.

piers, walls, fences, bridges, buildings, erections,
structures, depots, stations, fixtures, real estate and
appertenancea thereto, belonging to said corporation,
together with all the locomotives, tenders, cars, car

Cars, and other necessary equipments, together with
about fifty tulles, nearly coutple* ;d an l ready for the
Track, between Albany and Eufaula with about three
miles of iron laid. The track from Brunswick to Al
bany is laid with first-class, new and heavy “T" Rail,
(mostly English,) the greater portion Fish-Bar. The
iron supposed to be worth $1,750,000.
Under said decree the Commissioners are required
to make and execute good and sufficient titles to the
purchaser, in FEE SIMPLE, free from all claims,
debts, demands, hens, bonds, mortgages or incum
brances whatsoever.
Terms of Sale i
One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars CASH, to
be paiu on the dsy of sale, and before the legal hours
of rale expires, and the balance as the same may be
called in by the said Commissioners. The purchaser
to be placed in possession of the property on the pay
ment of the first instalment and to receive titles on
the payment of the balance of the purchase money.
The first payment to be forfeited on failure therein.

Tne first Kuklux trial before the State Court came
off before Judge Watts at Johnson county Superior
Court this week, and resnlted in the conviction of tbe
guilty party of murder. Two men, one white and one
colored, went disguised to a colored man's house and
whipped him to death the Ctb of September. They
were convicted to-day and sentenced to be hanged the
1.3th of November. _
