Is it true Mr. A. It is not. Every Grange must ex- ercisc its own discretion as to the ailmissiou of members. The constitution is silent in regard to color, and ODly prescribes that ap plicants must be of good moral character, tbat they must be interested in agriculture, and that they must be of a certain age Grange chooses to admit colored peiaons, it can do so: there is nothing in the constitution to prohibit it. The statement that there an no colored men in the order is incorrect. I myself have been in Granges where there were colored members.
