J. { The premises known as Neville’s urng ! store, at the intersection o! Eighth, Lock and I Dublin streets, was the scene of an apparent ly cold blooded murdtr about 8 o’clock last night. In the contusion which followed the occurrence it was impossible to get a straight forward narration of the facts, Imt the follow ing statement may be taken as substantially correct: The murderer, Dennis Cary - , was the owner of the building, and about eighteen months ~go leased it to \V. T. Neville, a druggist, for a term of five yeais, the lower tloor to be rsod as a ding store. Recently Mr. Neville atotrod a new building ou the corner ot Sixth ihd Lock streets, which he thought won'd r n-wer his purpose mu.'ll better than tho one no was occupying,and accordingly took a lease on it. With a view to complying with ti e termp of his lease from Cary, Mr. Neville had fcub-let the building to a man named Rurke, to be occupied as a grocery. This did not •-eem to please Cary, who expressed file opin ion, that as Mr. Neville was moving away he should have had his leasa cancelled, and ultowed him (Cary) |to have the selection ot a new tenant.
