York Herald states : “Uutqnivocally and pos
itively Secretary Richardson says that not
one dollar of the resort e will be used, except
for the payment of the current expenses of
the government. Th*» currency receipts have
fallen off, and they will probably contiuue to
do so. and there is no chance to sell gold. It
may therefore be necessary to draw on the
reserve for weeks to come. The Secretary will

Immigration Company.
A N act of tbe Legislature of G^orgls having au
thorized ihe formation of s Company “To facil
itate the sale of Real E«:ate in Georgia, and to cncour-
see immigration thereto,” the undersigned propose to
civry out the purposes of tho grant by presenting io
tho public piizos in the form of real estate, both in
town or country, to be drawn for on the »eeond
Wtduesday in January, 1874.
Parties desiring of selling Real Estate are invited to
address the Company, describing the property and
the price they are willing to take therefor.
The following extract from the law will explain the
plan aud purposes of tbe Company:
"Any person desirous to cell or dispose of his, her
or their real estate through the raid Laud Agency by
Lottery, or otherwise, shall before doing eo fully des
cribe same as to tho number ol af'rcs. and if a city lot
the number of feet, its boundaries, character of the
improvements and county iu which located, so it can
be folly identified; shall then place a fair valuation
thereon, which valuation shall be certified to by two
disinterested citizens of tbe county or neighborhood
in which the land i* located, and when tlioso prerequi
sites are complied wltb and the property offered for
sale or lottery by the said land agency. The party or
parties having the control of said land and improve
ments shall bind themselves in a good and sufficient
bond to said land agents, or their successors, to make
a valid title thereto to whoever may be the drawer or
purchaser thereof; but no obligation to make titles
given to said parties shall be of any force or effect for
a longer period than six months, unless the valuation
affixed to the property shall be tendered within the
said term of six months from the date ol said bond,
whenever the said Land Agents or thoir successors shall
tender to the owner or controllor thereof, in currency,
the valuation agreed upon for said property. H?e Ox.
