The following extract from the law will explain the plan and purposes of the Company: 4i Any person desirous to sell or dispose of his, her or their real estata through the eaid Land Agency by Lottery, or otherwise, shall before doing eo fully des cribe came as to tha number of acres, and if a city lot the number of feet, its boundaries, character of the improvements and county in which located, eo it can be fully identified; shall then place a fair valuation thereon, which valuation shall be certified to by two disinterested citizens of the county or neighborhood in which the land is located, and when these prerequi sites are complied with and the propeity offered for sale or lottery by the said hind age ncy. The party or parties having tbe control of said land and improve ments shall bind themselves In a good and sufficient bond to said land agents, or tbeir euccessors, to make a valid title thereto to whoever may be tbe drawer or purchaser tbereo 1- ; but no obligation to nuke titles given to raid parties shall be of any force or effect for a longer period thin six mouths, unless the valuation affixed to the property shall be tendered within tho said term of six mcntli3 from the date of sai l bond, whenever the said Lind Agents or their successors shall tender to the owner or controller thereof, in currency, the valuation agreed upon for said property.
