put up sufficiently commodious for a large family;
in the yard is as healthy and pine water as can be
found in middle Georgia; a line and well selected
orchard of fruit trees, having attached near one
hundred acres of land, now in cultivation and in
good repair. Also, the whole of lus household
furniture, all of which is new and of good patterns
'I ho whole of the above property w ill he sold on
the most accommodating terms,and in such quanti
ties as to suit the convenience of the purchasers.
They would call the attention of those who wish
to merchandize at a place where the custo tiers of
the house of Thomas H. White & Uo,of twelve
years standing, arc not surpassed for solvency by
any in Georgia, to such there is not a. better stand
in the old counties —to the professional man here
is a place worthy a trial.

AGREEABLY to an Older of the honorable the
Inferior Court of Putnam county, when sil
ting for ordinary purposes, will be sold, on the first
Tuesday in January next, at the court house in the
town of Appling, Columbia county, between the
usual hours of sale, 1)30 acres of land, more or
less, in t olumbia county,near the town of Appling,
on the Kiokee and Greenbriar creeks, adjoining
lands of C. Collins, Joseph A. Marshall, and others,
and the lot of land on who h the Kiokee ( liureli
edifice stands, on the road leading from the town
of Washington to Augusta. Due half of the above
tract of land is in original wood and heavily tim
bered flic whole tract of land is of very excel
lent qua ity, and the cleared laud under a high
state of cultivation. The improvements are a laige
hiii k dwelling house, with all necessary and very
good out houses, and a good ginhouse. Ihe above
tract of land is about twenty miles from Augusta,
and offers inducements raiely to be met with in
middle Georgia. The land wid be resurveyed be
fore tbe day of sale, and will be sol I either alto
gether or in three parcels. The above tract of
land belongs to the estate of the late Rev. Jabez
P. Marsha l, deceased, an 1 is well known as his
