straight back instead of rounding off. That means plenty of headroom for
passengers, front and back. Seats are sofa-soft and chair-high. All Dodge
models offer this kind of comfort at a-variety of prices—ail low! We have
a number of interesting items for the male set, too. For economy, a
hustling 225 cubic inch 6. For action, a stable full of V8 horsepower. For
assured satisfaction, a revolutionary new 5-year/50,000-mile warranty*.

By Herbert H. Lehman-Past
Gov. of N. Y.
1 believe I must help to safe
guard to all men free expres
sion of their views even though
I may be in disagreement with
them. I must listen to and
study responsible views; some
times I will learn much from
them. No individual and no na
tion has a monopoly of wisdom
or talent. When an individual
or a nation becomes self-satis
fied or complacent, it is time,
1 believe, to be deeply con
cerned.
There can be no question
with regard to the inherent
rights of Americans to enjoy
equal economic opportunity in
every field, to secure decent
living conditions, adquate pro
vision for the moral and spiri
tual development of theirchild-
ren, and free association with
their fellow men as equals un
der the law and equals in the
sight of God. These rights can
be safeguarded and advanced
only where men may think and
speak freely. 1 reject a funda
mental principle of democracy
if 1 seek to prevent a fellow
citizen of different background
from fully expressing his
thoughts on any subject. 1 have
tried to express a few of my
own thoughts on this stibject
which is very close to me. I
think that we will have good rea
son for optimism about the fu
ture of the American ideal as
long as men can and will say,
without fear, what they believe.
