Baker went to Jacksonville, Florida, and Miss Wynelle Baker returned home with them. Mrs. Ben Hinton, Mrs. Gann Nelson, Mrs. E. W. Erickson, Mrs. Rob Aultman, Mrs. Lottie Marshall, Miss Anita Marshall, and Mrs. Richard Parks were Mr. Albert Carter will leave Friday for Winter Park, Florida to spend the holidys. Mrs. Gann Nelson and Mrs. D. W. Payne spent Monday afternoon in Macon. Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Payne and Renee spent Sunday in Mon- ticello visiting relatives. Miss Ruby Jinks is expected Friday to spend the holidays with Mrs. R. M. Jinks and Mrs. R. L. Bell. Mrs . Lillian Horton spent last week in Atlanta as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Virlyn Slaton. Mr. Tom Sawyer spent the week end in Greenville, S. C. and Atlanta with friends. Mr. Tom Sawyer accom panied Mrs. Hugh Sawyer to Charleston, S. C. Miss Aurelia Sawyer spent the week end at home visiting her parents. Mrs. Hugh Sawyer left for Jacksonville, Florida, Satur day, to meet Lt. Hugh Sawyer, U. S. Navy, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, who will be home on leave for the holidays. Mrs. Paul Holmes of Athens visited her sister, Mrs. Sidney Bryan, a few days this week. Mr. and Mrs. T. L. McTyre of Long Island, N.Y., were Sun day afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Barfield. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Neisler met Mr. and Mrs. W. H. What ley of Atlanta in Griffin Sunday. Mr. John Cunningham of Day tona Beach, Florida was the week end guest of Mr. George Brady. Mrs. Hennie Saunders is a patient at the Sams-Whatley Hospital. Mrs. John Kennedy and Mrs. David Goree of Atlanta spent last Thursday in Reynolds visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Walker are visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Mims. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Martin will be visiting Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cosey for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Walker Wha ley and children of Newark, N. J., are visiting Rev. and Mrs. W. W. Sales in nearby counties of Upson, Schley and Talbot were $44,923.00, $438.00 and $160.00 respectively. Savings Bonds sales in the State ran $4,353,OOOfor October and $39,518,000 for the year to date, an increase of $876, 000 over last year. Please do not let our County down, buy an extra Bond.
