14th Annual Tradition Continues Golf Tournament
Held At Reynolds Golf Club
The 14th Annual “Tradition Continues Golf Tournament” was held July 24th and 25th
at Reynolds Golf Club. Twenty-two teams participated in the tournament.
Congratulations to the Champions, Bucky Johnson and Tim TrusselL posting a two day
score of 131. Arty Cromer/Clif Marshall finished in 2nd place/lst flight, and JeffWain-
wright and Brian Word finished in 3rd place/lst flight. Second flight winners were Ben
Brannin and Will Brannin, with a two-day score of 140. Everett Carson/Derrick Carson
finished in 2nd place/2nd flight, and Bill Mims/BJ Mims finished in 3rd place/2nd flight.
Third flight winners, with a two-day score of 161, were Richie Hortman and Duane Mor
row. Kelly Murphy/Luke Murphy came in 2nd place/3rd flight, and Wes Summers, Jr./
Lilia Beth Summers finished in 3rd place/3rd flight. Closest to the pin on #5 Saturday
was Zac Robison. Longest drive on #7 Saturday was Charlie Jakes. Closest to pin #8
Sunday, Lister Dixie Harrell. Longest drive on #4, Sunday, was Logan Wainwright.
Harrison Brannin, who is 7 years old, was the youngest player in the tournament and
was presented a special prize. Congratulations to all of the 2021 Tradition Continues
winners! Thanks to all who participated in this fun event.
Reynolds Golf Club thanks all of the businesses and individuals who support our tour
nament each year. The tournament could not be possible without you. The Sponsor/
Friends board, provided by Jamie Whitley, stays up all year, so go by and see the board.
They hope you will support the businesses that help make this tournament possible.
Special thanks to Olivia Flanagan for taking care of the scoreboard for them and being
the Rules Of ficial and to the staff and volunteers who help keep the golf course looking
