Rchwnrzweis's has an article in to-day’s issue, which is not only of interest to citizens of Waynesboro, but to Burke and surrounding counties,and we ask for it a careful perusal by all who receive a copy of this extra. Mr. 8. has one of the fullest, finest, most varied and elegant stocks to be found in any city m^Jeorgia. All who contem plate visiting ihe eireus on next Tues day the 24th inst., are one and al re quested to oall on Mr. Schwarzweiss an inspect his goods, which in itself is worth a trip across the county to see. Remember the date of the circus, read his article in to-day’s paper, make out, a list of the goods you want and call on Mr. ►Schwarzweiss, he will save you enough by buying from him to pay your way in to the big show. • —We clip the following items from that spicy evening paper, the Augusta Evening News, concerning our Fair: “The Burke County Fair is now an assur ed success, since the latest returns have lieen fairly counted.” “We acknow ledge the reception of the premium lists, rules and regulations for the first annual exposition of the Agricultural Associa tion of Burke county, to commence in Waynesboro on the Gth and close on the 9th of December next. The list is gotten up in handsome pamphlet form, and will draw a large orowd and many exhibits to the fair, whioh will bo di rected in true exposition style and open to the wodd. The features of the dif ferent exhibits and the racing are well in hand, and i’ is quite sufficient augury of success to state that Maj. W. A. Wilkins iR at the head of tho enterprise, lucked by all the busiipss men and by tho estimable and energetic ludios of old Burke. — Mr. Ch.’.s. F.
