About two o’clock Mrs. Wm. Cla^te Juid just finished the family meal, and two of her children stood by her near a gasoline stove reservoir, which bIio was about to fill. From some unexplained cause, the vessel of gasoline, which Mrs. Clarke held became iguighted, and a fearful ex plosion occurrod, fill; ng the room in stantly jvilh a volume of intense llnme. Mrs. Clarke and her three children were burned in a most ter- ■iblo ;manner. The three children have died, and there is little hope of recovery of the mother.
