Highway Hoad Machine.
John Gray, driving a lumber
i truck for Bailey’s mill, located
' near Pembroke, drove onto a
' State Highway road scraping
; machine while crossing Jenks’s
[Bridge on Friday afternoon.
The impact in striking the
road scrape*’ caused the lumber |
with which the truck was loaded
to slide on Mr. Gray, badly in-*
juring him, several ribs were;
broken and other internal inju '
ries sustained.

Sullivan Murder Case Results
In A Mistrial
John J, Sullivan indicted for
the murder of Garvesse Alever
esse was complimented with a

by a jury in'the Chatahm county
Superior Court this week.
Sllivan was charged with
