From a large bow of pink caught to the chandelier, the rib bons extented to the four corners of the table and were there caught with bunches of feathery ferns. Green and pink bonbons, salted almonds and olives completed the table picture, while over all was shed a soft radiance from hand- One flower does not make a spring. According to an act of the last General Assembly, Physiology and Hygiene must be' taught in the Public Schools, and conse quently teachers will be examined in Physiology and Hygiene in the next regular examination. Shaw’s School Hygiene has been selected by the State School Com missioner as the text book for the Teacher’s Professional course this year.
