ATLANTA MAN IS ATTENDING
NATIONAL TENNIS MEETING
At th, m sating of lbs National Lawn
Tannla Association, which will be held
In New York -Tuesday, the Southern
Lawn Tennis Association, will be rep*
resented by L. D. Hcott, of Atlanta,
who Is a member of the executive com-
mlttee of the N. U T. A. and also an
officer In the Southern Lawn Tennis
Association.
The only business to come before the
meeltns which Is of Interest to the
South Is the proposal to have South*
em doubles and slnglss teams compete
for the Inter-sectional championship.
Local men have been corresponding
about the admission of a Southern
team and feel sure that the deal can
be put through. The only objection made
Is on the ground that It would extend
this event too long, but as only one
more match will be required It 1s felt
here that this objection Is hardly a
good one.
